STRATA — a programmatic identity for an architectural institution.
SCOPE OF WORK
Identity · Programmatic System · Editorial · Wayfinding · Digital
01 — OverviewOne institution, many programs.
Strata is a conceptual identity system for an architectural institution shaped around exhibitions, residencies, lectures, fellowships, and publishing. The system is built to hold a permanent institutional voice while allowing each program to take on its own visual rhythm. Rather than treating the identity as a fixed logo system, Strata uses type, grid, color, and layout rules as a flexible grammar for changing cultural content.
02 — APPROACHA grammar, not just a logo.
Programmatic identity.
Type, grid, and color rules shift across exhibitions, lectures, residencies, and publications while still reading as one institutional voice.
Architectural wayfinding.
Large-scale typography, directional signage, and environmental graphics create continuity across changing programs and physical spaces.
Editorial flexibility.
A publication system supports exhibition guides, program materials, digital essays, catalogs, and printed collateral through one adaptable type and grid kit.
